Jenna’s Bridals

I am sooo excited to finally be posting Jenna’s bridals! I have known Jenna since jr high and was completely honored to do her bridals for her! It was such a special time. It was even more special because we got to do her bridals at one of her favorite places on earth, her grandparents ranch! It was quite an early morning start but it was well worth being up before the sun for these pictures! And I can’t thank her sister Madi enough for coming along and helping.

I wish Jenna and her new husband Tim the best of luck as they start this new journey together!

Natalie & Stephen

I have gotten to know Natalie through church over the last year and absolutely love her! When she came to Bible study one night she announced that she had met a guy and over the next few months we got to hear all these great stories about Stephen and what exciting thing was going on that week. Then one week the ring finally appeared! I couldn’t have been more excited for them. I was especially so excited about this shoot because I finally got to meet the guy behind all the wonderful stories we had been told. I am so happy for Natalie and Stephen and them starting this new exciting life together!

Babies! I absolutely love getting to shoot new babies. There is something so sweet and perfect about a newborn. It’s even more sweet when it’s a family that I love! I am so excited to be part of this families life!

Sarah Watson

Sarah is recently graduated from Flower Mound High School and will be attending Ouachita Baptist University in the Fall! Sarah was so sweet and fun to work with. I loved that she picked the urban scene for her session. I def loved all of the color we used in her pictures!

 

Megan McLaughlin

The next few days I will just be catching up on posting sessions from the past few months. This summer has been crazy. Once I get everything caught up on posting I will finally be able to start posting current stuff! I love summer but I do miss having more of a routine.

 

Megan just graduated from Allen High School and will be attending Ouachita Baptist University in the Fall to play Softball there! I loved this session. Megan was so sweet and so much fun to shoot with. I was very impressed with her because she still did her session after having injured her knee in a game earlier that week! She was a trooper.

Skyla Rios

A few weeks ago I did a shoot with Skyla, who is a senior this year. I loved doing this shoot with her. Not only was she so photogenic but she was the sweetest also. Her mom and older sister Starr came along with her. It was such a fun little morning shoot!

Justin and Sarah

I am so happy to finally be doing this post! I can official say congrats to Justin and Sarah. I can’t think of two more deserving people that the Lord has brought together. I have known Justin for a few years now and have been through many things along the way. I have prayed diligently that the Lord would bring someone into his life and well He did! He brought Sarah! Sarah is one of the most joyous people I have ever met. It was an honor to be part of their special night.

Over a month ago I got an email from Justin saying he was finally going to pop the question. He had every little detail planned out. I must say I was very impressed that he even remember the detail about the photographer. So of course how could I turn down this opportunity. Last night he took Sarah to the Belmont Hotel in Dallas where the lounge over looks the Dallas skyline. After a few minutes he excused himself from the table and one by one her closest friends and family came in and gave her words of encouragement, her best friend sitting at her side the whole time. The last two to come by were her older twin brothers who then escorted her to the pool area where Justin was waiting with the biggest smile on his face. I didn’t think the view could get any better than when we were in the lounge area but it did. Once Sarah had gotten to Justin he took her to this little grassy area over looking an even better view of Dallas, he got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him! Of course Sarah said yes! They then went back to the lounge area where all of their friends and family were waiting. I won’t lie having to watch/hear everyone talk to Sarah and then seeing the actual proposal, I did cry a few times. I tried to hold them back but when it’s two people like Justin and Sarah and you know that their relationship is one that is completely honoring the Lord you can’t help but be overwhelmed with happiness for them!

So on that note… Congrats to Justin and Sarah. I wish you both the best in this journey you are starting together!

Haley and Chris

What an engagement/wedding I am honored to be a part of! I have known Haley since high school. We met through church and officially clicked on a spring break mission trip we took to Mexico freshman year. I would have never guessed then that I would be doing pictures for her wedding now. When I first met Chris (her fiance obviously) I immediately knew that this was completely a relationship that glorified God. I can’t wait to see what amazing things God does through their life together!

 

The Osborne’s

Stephanie and her husband Caleb live in Washington and were home over the holidays. I was so excited that they decided to do a mini session with me while they were here. Such a sweet couple. Stephanie and I grew up in the same student ministry at Prestonwood. It was such a great day out for this shoot!
